Uber Eats invaded SXSW 2019 with activations all over the city. To celebrate Uber Eats’ debut at the annual intersection of film, music and culture they satisfied hungry festival-goers with surprise food drops at the longest lines and had a convenient walk-up window serving grab-and-go goodies on 6th Street.
The experience culminated in the Uber Eats House, an immersive brand space pairing world-renowned restaurants and chefs with top musical artists, including Billie Eilish, Virgil Abloh, Khalid, David Chang, Roy Choi, and by CHLOE.
The walk-up window on 6th street delivered fresh eats to thousands of festival goers showcasing Uber Eats’ restaurant partners to a hungry audience. The window rotated partners daily and had multiple partners serving up food every day to maximize engagement and build brand loyalty with repeat visitors. A countdown was displayed on the windows to let visitors know when to come back and shine a spotlight on the restaurant partners in the center of the festival action.
